Program: Ryde Here Badminton

RYDE HERE BADMINTON

This project was supported by funding from the City of Ryde.

  • When: Tue 5pm - 6pm

  • Where: Court 5 & 6, 2b/172 Silverwater Rd, Silverwater

  • Who : People with disabilities + Trainer + Optional support worker on extra cost

  • What to bring: Badminton racquet, Badminton shoes, Brink bottle

  • $15/session for a member

  • $22/session for a non-member

  • $350/year for member

BUILD UP MY ABILITY / ART THERAPY

Art therapies allow expression through creative modalities e.g. painting, sculpture, writing, movements to achieve healing, growth and transformation.

  • When: 3rd Sunday of the month, 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

  • Where: 22 Maxim str, West Ryde, NSW

  • How much: $75/head

  • (Covering therapy, material and tea)

PROGRAM AMPLE NET

A new program Ample Net will be launched soon. That is a social support group for people with disabilities and theirs carers, in particular for those from CALD backgrounds. There will be gathering on a monthly basis. the programs are set in devised forms, such as workshops, therapies, dance or cooking etc. The people with disabilites and theirs families/carers are invited to join.

The project will improve the social skills of people with disabilites. The carers support each other through sharing of one's feelings, or exchange of information.

A Care the Carers Project

Serendipitous Me is a project that aims to provide support to carers through a series of calming lifestyle workshops to improve well-being and promote a healthy lifestyle.

DINE OUT FUN

A project supporting people with disabilites to improve their living skills through dine out activities.

This project supports people with disabilities to improve their living skills through dining out activities. Facilitated by a team of volunteers, this program helps participants to develop practical skills when they dine out. The program support to acquire the necessary skills in social interaction, menu reading, meal ordering verbally or by mobile phone Apps.
